Photos: NEMA receives 311 IDPs following attacks in Bosso by suspected Boko Haram terrorists.

Following the attacks by suspected Boko Haram insurgents in Bosso area, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) North East zonal officials today, June 10, received 311 internally Displaced persons from Mobar LGA of Borno state who were screened and camped at MOGOLIS IDP camp in Maiduguri Borno state.
 
Boko Haram retook the town of Bosso in southern Niger on Sunday night after clashes with soldiers from Niger and Nigeria. The attacks which displaced over 5,000 people occured on Friday, Sunday and Monday(June 3,5 and 6)
Bosso is part of the Diffa region near Lake Chad, where Cameroon, Chad, Nigeria and Niger meet and where many refugees have sought shelter from Boko Hram violence over the years. 
There at least 240,000 displaced people in Diffa Region, including Nigerian refugees, returnees and the internally displaced.
